The Nigeria Energy Forum NEF group, has shortlisted 11 students’ groups across tertiary institutions in the country to for its second edition of Tertiary Institution Student Energy Pitch Challenge finals holding on July 9, 2024.

This follow diligent shortlisting from over 80 entries that Submitted Pitch Deck to outline idea, problem statement, innovation potential and impact they will address.

Tertiary Institutions Energy Pitch Challenge (TIEC) aims to promote student-led clean energy innovations, awareness, and investments across higher education institutions in Nigeria.

The first edition held in 2023 when it was co-created by NEF and sponsored by All On, an impact investment firm.

The second Edition will involve high-impact energy innovations across student teams from tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

The 11 shortlisted teams will be pitching their ideas live in-person/hybrid at the 9th Nigeria Energy Forum at Marcellina Centre, Along Radisson Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, Nigeria.

Winning teams will be awarded a share of over 3 million Naira.

The 2024 key themes are: (i) Powering Agribusiness; (ii) Energizing Healthcare; (iii) Local Manufacturing & (iv) Cleaner Production.
